Job Description

Job Description/Tasks/Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of maintenance and operations professionals.
  • Oversee the execution of planned maintenance activities of plant and project equipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining and repairing plant and project equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance for future project equipment, such as temporary power, ventilation modifications, industrial equipment, etc.
  • Coordinate and oversee plant operations.
  • Administer the lockout-tagout (LOTO) program.
  • Implementation and maintenance of Operations and Maintenance Procedures and work instructions.
  • Oversee material receipt, issuance, and storage.
  • Oversee the maintenance and test equipment (M&TE) program.
  • Oversee the Work Process Request program, to include determining priority level of each item and determining if items will be repaired.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain training items for Operations and Maintenance job-familiarization guides and training briefs.
  • Participate in the corrective action program.
  • Works in multi-discipline teams on project-based work and ensures integration of design across multiple disciplines.
  • Works on a timeline, ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of work and initiates corrective measures to overcome delays.
  • Understands, complies and is responsible for working to environmental health and safety policies and procedures, and attends meetings as required.
  • Supports installation and testing of site systems and components.
  • Relies on experience and judgment.
  • Works under limited supervision.
  • Significant creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Profricient in Microsoft office
  • intermediate knowledge of industry codes and regulations

Physical/Mental Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Ability to carry up to 15 pounds; handle and reach below shoulder
  • Ability to use hands to accomplish tasks as assigned
  • Ability to effectively communicate; pass audiogram in hearing conservation program as required by location
  • Ability to see close and distance and basic colors/shades
  • Ability to work alone, interact with the public, and perform under deadline pressure
  • Ability to work outdoor and indoor activities under various conditions
 
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or science field or high school graduate with 8 years experience or equivalent
Certifications
  • None Required
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience
Preferred Experience
  • Previous Nuclear Power Plant Experience
