Project Controls Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Project Controls Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing data associated with our company's operations and projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and provide insights to improve efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and manage large amounts of data from multiple databases or systems
- Analyze complex data sets identifying trends and anomalies
- Utilize project controls performance metrics to access project status and project forward
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies in data
- Assist in performing and improving financial data analysis processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand drivers and develop analytical models
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project controls
- Create reports and visualizations for stakeholders
- Develop and maintain data models and databases
Job Requirements/Skills
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Incorta, or Power BI is a plus
- Experience with Project Management Enterprise tools (P6, Cobra, Prism, MS Project, EcoSys) is a plus
- Experience with SQL and Python is a plus
- Experience with Power Apps is a plus
Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, project management, engineering, data analytics, or related field
- Minimum 3-years of experience in the field or project controls related experience in lieu of degree
- 2 to 5 years of experience in related field is a plus
