Job Summary The Sr. Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for managing a variety of strategic and tactical communications initiatives to support the company’s goals. This role involves executing a broad range of marketing and communications activities, including creating reports, brochures, graphics, spreadsheets, and other business documents. The position reports to the VP of Marketing & Comunications and may work closely with key internal and external customers including business development, HR, and the executive team. Additional responsbilities include coordinating the annual EnergySolutions conference and other industry trade shows and conferences to ensure marketing material, trade show booths and support are provided.The Marketing & Communications Specialistwill work closely with the VP of Marketing to manage social media messaging.
Job Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities
Develops and executes internal and external communication plans and strategies to support key initiatives.
Creates and manages print, audio, and video media targeting key audiences and customers to enhance brand awareness and value.
Supports internal communication strategies to inform, engage, and connect employees.
Advises and prepares senior leaders on strategic communications and key messaging initiatives.
Collaborates with senior executives and Business Development to ensure accurate and effective messaging for diverse stakeholders and audiences.
Manages the company website (EnergySolutions.com) and Intranet, ensuring regular updates and maintaining accurate, engaging content.
Support the development of social media strategies to ensure brand consistency across all platforms
Coordinate with facility appointed employees to gather news and information for social media updates
Works closely with Business Development and the executive team to identify and leverage new opportunities that align with organizational objectives.
Represents EnergySolutions at conferences, engaging with current and prospective customers to market company services.
Prepares and designs presentations, reports, graphics, correspondence, brochures, and other marketing materials as needed.
Performs writing and editing tasks to ensure high-quality content across all communication channels.
Plays a key role in the planning and execution of the annual EnergySolutions conference.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree requiredin marketing, business, English, communications, or other related field
Certifications
None required
Required Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, business, journalism or communications
Preferred Experience
5+ years of experience in marketing, business, journalism or communications
Experience in web design and content production

Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment, including availability for after-hours and weekend work as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with graphic design software
