Job Summary Responsible for receiving, storing and issuing materials. Maintains records of materials and supplies, oversees the proper storage of materials and issues materials in accordance with written procedures. Coordinates warehouse activities and directs warehouse staff.
Job Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities
Performs various warehouse duties consisting primarily of receiving, storing, and distributing materials and supplies.
Inputs various reports into the Oracle database system.
Ensures warehouse procedures and practices are followed.
Maintains the inspection log.
Performs warehouse inventory and updates inventory logs as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
Education
High School diploma or GED
Certifications
None required
Ability to obtain a valid forklift certificate within 60 days required
Required Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience performing warehouse shipping/receiving, delivery/stock rotation, storage functions and inventory control procedures
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
Preferred Experience
Oracle experience
Required and Desired Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detailed knowledge of the methods and procedures related to receiving, processing, storing and distributing a variety of parts, equipment and supplies
Detailed knowledge of automated financial and purchasing records, database systems and recordkeeping
Strong leadership skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Intermediate knowledge regarding the use of Microsoft Office products required to perform job
