Job Description:
Oversee a facility refurbishment project in Kingston, TN. This long-term assignment requires a candidate with at least 15 years of construction experience, with a strong focus on safety management. The position will be responsible for managing both safety and construction activities, ensuring all subcontractors adhere to safety and construction standards during the project’s execution.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead safety management and construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and timelines.
  • Manage subcontractors on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project requirements.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and construction quality assessments, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures for all construction activities.
  • Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of safety inspections, incidents, construction progress, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on safety practices and construction objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with project management, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates and ensure smooth coordination.
  • Lead safety and construction meetings, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure all construction work complies with OSHA regulations, project specifications, and client expectations.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction, with extensive safety management experience.
  • Proven track record in construction management, overseeing subcontractors on large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, construction safety practices, and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP) and construction management certifications are a plus.
