Job Summary Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of all compensation and benefits programs for EnergySolutions. Provides strategic oversight of HR technology platforms ensuring systems support compliance, scalability, and advanced HR analytics.
Job Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities
Responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the company’s compensation and benefits policies and programs.
Ensures alignment of benefits, compensation and performance management programs with EnergySolutions business strategy.
Provides leadership in the development and implementation of the strategic plan and operating plan for Human Resources (HR). This includes clarifying the vision, goals, strategies, action plans and measures to ensure the most cost effective and efficient services and programs.
Oversees the development of the total value proposition to employees and ensures proper alignment with the company’s overall employment brand.
Oversees the development and management of the company’s short and long-term incentive programs, and ensures proper compliance with appropriate Federal and state regulations.
Oversees and directs the Company’s retirement and non-qualified savings plans by working with the Company’s investment advisor, record keeper, and Retirement Committee.
Monitors the total compensation strategy to ensure it is effectively supporting organizational strategies and priorities.
Supports M&A activity as needed by evaluating M&A target’s compensation and benefit plans including but not limited to health and welfare, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, defined benefit plans, and MEWAs. Restructures, terminates, or manages M&A target’s programs as needed
Build workforce analytics dashboards that inform leadership decisions on pay, headcount, turnover, overtime, span of control, and organizational health.
Partner with IT, Legal, and Finance to ensure secure data governance and seamless integration across platforms
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements Education
Bachelor's degree required in HR, business or a related field
Certifications
GBA and/or RPA CEBS certification through IFEBP preferred.
SPHR preferred
Required Experience
A minimum of 15 years of experience in a HRIS, compensation and/or benefits leadership position

Ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities and still maintain focus on what is most important
Detailed knowledge of state and federal laws related to compensation and benefits including Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Section 125 Internal Revenue Code (IRC), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), etc.
Demonstrated strategic thinking skills with the ability to visualize an end goal
Strong ability to project manage towards achieving the end goal
Strong background in initiating and leveraging advanced HR information systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Proven track record of leading C&B and HRIS activities in M&A environments
Strong leadership skills
