Job Summary Interfaces with senior management to ensure that corporate financial goals are reflected in divisional budgets and forecasts. Facilitates business leaders’ ability to communicate operational objectives in financial terms. Manages analytical analysis of business financial performance.
Job Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities
Interacts with operational management, Accounting Department management and the Business Development organization to ensure that business objectives are translated into financial goals and objectives for EnergySolutions.
Serves as a liaison between accounting and operating groups.
Assists with preparation of the annual operating budgets and forecasts.
Provides financial support for business development efforts.
Provides cost/benefit analysis and discounted cash flow models to decision makers.
Provides analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual results as compared to budgets and forecasts.
Manages financial analysts assigned to specific departments within EnergySolutions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree requiredin accounting, finance or business administration
Certifications
Certified Management Accountant or Certified Public Accountant preferred
Required Experience
Minimum of 5 years of Finance Analyst experience
Preferred Experience
Oracle experience
Database experience
Required and Desired Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of revenue recognition, budgeting and forecasting
Advanced proficiency using Excel, including creating pivot tables and other data manipulation techniques
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information
Strong analytical skills
Physical/Mental Requirements and Working Conditions
Basic computer skills
Ability to sit, stand, and walk
Ability to perform highly repetitive motions with fingers, hands, and wrists
