JOB SUMMARY Supports company operations and projects by monitoring, tracking, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services in alignment with procurement and project schedules. Works closely with Procurement, Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and suppliers to maintain visibility of order status and proactively resolve delivery or logistical issues.
JOB DUTIES/TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES • Tracks purchase orders, subcontracts, and supplier commitments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services • Maintains continuous communication with suppliers to confirm order status, shipment dates, and delivery schedules. • Identifies and escalates risks of late deliveries; works with suppliers and internal stakeholders to implement recovery plans. • Coordinates with Procurement and Project Managers to align delivery schedules with project needs. • Monitors transportation and logistics activities to ensure materials arrive on-site as planned. • Maintains accurate expediting records and reports in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Provides regular status updates to Procurement, Operations, and Project Management teams. • Assists in resolving discrepancies related to shipping, receiving, and invoicing. • Interfaces frequently with Suppliers, Procurement Specialists, Project Managers, Quality Assurance (QA), and Operations personnel. • Prepares expediting correspondence to suppliers and maintains organized communication records. • Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS • Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple orders simultaneously. • Strong communication and follow-up skills to ensure supplier accountability. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reporting capabilities. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and Teams. • Familiarity with ERP/MRP procurement systems, preferably Oracle. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to negotiate recovery solutions with suppliers. • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred
Certifications

Required Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of expediting, procurement support or supply chain experience in an industrial, manufacturing, nuclear or heavy equipment environment
Experience coordinating with suppliers and managing delivery schedules
Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP procurement and tracking systems.
Preferred Experience
5-7 years of expediting, or supply chain support in an environmental, nuclear or heavy equipment industry.
Experience with Oracle Procurement or similar systems.
